Returns & refunds

We want you to love every book you receive from us. If something isn't right, we'll do our best to make it right.
Damaged or incorrectly sent items
If your order arrives damaged or if you've received the wrong item, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. You may be asked to send a photograph of the damage to help us.
Change of mind returns
We accept returns for change of mind within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- In its original, resaleable condition — unread, undamaged, and free of marks or inscriptions
- In its original packaging where applicable
Return postage costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
Once we receive and inspect the return, we will issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.
Non-returnable items
The following cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Digital downloads and ebooks
- Items marked as final sale
- Signed or personalised editions, unless damaged in transit
Pre-orders and crowdfunded titles
Pre-orders can be cancelled and refunded at any point before the item dispatches. Once a pre-order has shipped, our standard returns policy applies. Crowdfunded campaign contributions are non-refundable after the campaign closes unless the title is cancelled.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have the right to cancel an online order within 14 days of receipt for any reason, and to receive a full refund including standard delivery costs.
