With much much much delight, it is a great pleasure to announce that Adam S. Leslie’s psychedelic roadtrip through a strange and unsettling pastoral England has been shortlisted for Best Fiction at the 2024 Nero Awards. Understandably, Adam is delighted!
The Award’s mission is to point readers of all ages and interests in the direction of outstanding books and writers. Uniquely celebrating books across multiple genres, the Awards’ features shortlists and winners across four categories, and culminates with one book being crowned overall winner of the Gold Prize Book of the Year. Each year you’ll be able to take your pick from a collection of 16 books from the four categories, Children’s Fiction, Fiction, Debut Fiction and Non-Fiction, written by authors based in the UK and Ireland.
The judges are asked to choose the books they would most want to press into the hands of friends and family for their quality and readability.
Established as a not-for-profit organisation, the Nero Book Awards are run by the independent, family-owned coffee house group, Caffè Nero in partnership with The Booksellers Association and Brunel University London.
The 2024 Fiction judges are Kevin Power, Dr Will Smith and Zoe West.
